Local Sales

Our local business includes sales of Pine and Cedar Shavings, Cedar Mulch, and Cedar Closet Lining. We also buy your Cedar Logs. If you live in Upstate South Carolina, or Northeast Georgia, you're welcome to stop by. We prefer if you make an appointment; we do not have retail facilities. Premium Closet Lining

Cedar Closet LiningWant the real closet lining? The proof is in the numbers! Our closet lining is thick; not 1/4" like the home improvement warehouses stock, and not 5/16" like the local lumber yard may offer. It's a solid 3/8" thick and 3" wide. Smooth planer finish on both sides, with a tongue & groove for tight fit and easy installation. Other great applications include lining clothes hampers and chests. A standard 3' closet requires about 60 sq.ft.




Cedar & Pine Shavings

Cedar and Pine Shavings Look here, horse or other animal lovers. Treat your animals to the best! Keep ticks, fleas and other pests away. Use our fresh cedar shavings. These shavings are light and fluffy with no big chunks or splinters and very little fine dust. Packed in economical 55 gallon size bags for easy handling and storage. Available "first come - first served", or call to reserve an order. For directions to our shop, contact us.
Our Pine Shavings come from the same machine as the Cedar Shavings, but we do not pack them into bags. The Pine Shavings are blown on a pile outside, where you can load them for free. We also will load them for $5-$10/load.

Cedar Mulch

Cedar Mulch Jazz up your flower beds with our cedar landscaping mulch. Our cedar mulch is a great insect repellent; we've seen studies by universities (that have nothing better to do) that insects will avoid aromatic red cedar as much as possible. We've also had people say that they noticed a decrease in the amount of bugs and spiders when they applied our cedar mulch to existing flower beds. No chemicals or colorings added. Mulch will weather to a light brownish gray. We also deliver within 30 miles of Due West.
  Pricing:  $20 per cubic yard/$15 per scoop - approx. $30-$50 per pickup truck load.

We buy Cedar Logs

We buy Cedar Logs Have a few cedar trees and need some cash? Did you have your land clear-cut but they left the cedars lay? We will buy your logs. We buy the logs if you cut them and bring them to us. We do not come pick up your logs, and we don't have a logging crew to cut them. Trim the trees, cut them to 8'4" and bring them to Cedarwood. We will unload them, scale them, and pay you. We measure the small end of the tree; and using the cedar scale we count the board feet in each log and pay you by the total board footage.
